In September of 2008 Tom traveled to the wilderness of Alaska to hunt caribou. The scenery in Alaska was breathtaking and the caribou hunt was great. The trip was an unguided adventure that took Tom from Anchorage, AK to Kotzebue, AK. From there they were flown out into the mountain camp 60 miles NE of Kotzebue in the Arctic Circle. Tom shot his caribou the first morning out with a one shot at 538 yards. The next morning Justin shot his caribou with the bow at 40 yards. It was an experience to remember.
